Nov. 3• At 10:20 a.m. in Sierra Meadows a parent requested that a Truckee police officer check her son’s room for narcotics and/or paraphernalia. Both marijuana and paraphernalia were located in the room and confiscated, and two teenagers were cited on suspicion of possession of marijuana.• At 3 p.m. on Riverview Drive, several victims reported the theft of construction equipment from a construction site nearby sometime during the previous week.• At 10:39 p.m. on Highland Avenue someone called to report a hit-and-run he had witnessed in which a truck ran into a utility pole. A search of the area produced a suspect who was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.Nov. 4• At 1:44 p.m. two high school students were cited on suspicion of marijuana possession. The school also took administrative action because the students were still under the school’s authority.• At 6:07 p.m. on East Alder Creek Road at Rainbow Drive a woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after the woman’s ex-husband reported that she was intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.Nov. 5• At 4:50 p.m. on Shorepine Road, in response to a series of harassing phone calls, one man went to another man’s house to confront him. A physical fight ensued with neither party sustaining any injuries. One of the men requested documentation and prosecution.Nov. 6• At 10:19 p.m. on E Street downtown a man reported that an unknown suspect threw a rock through the back window of his truck. Officers filed a vandalism report.Nov. 7• At 12:20 a.m. on the 12000 block of Dove Terrace a man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after he threw an object at his wife and then slapped her, both of which caused visible injury.• At 12:27 a.m. on state Route 89 north at Donner Pass Road a juvenile driver and other passengers were cited on suspicion of possession of marijuana and alcohol after a traffic stop for observed violations.Nov. 8• At 12:30 a.m. on Red Fir Road an unknown suspect entered a locked vehicle and stole tip money belonging to a local coffee shop and a wallet. There were no signs of forced entry.• At 3:50 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a suspect was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after the subject inflicted visible injury on a co-habitant during a domestic dispute.
