President Obama takes ‘family photo’ with the Catanzaros of Truckee

RENO, Nev. and#8212;-On Friday, May 11, President Obama made a short trip to Reno, Nev., for a kitchen table talk with Val and Paul Keller about their success in refinancing their home through the Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP).

The President talked to the small neighborhood crowd and then took some time to greet those in attendance.

Truckee web designer Michael Catanzaro and his family, Kira, Luca and Nico, received an invitation to the unpublicized event from Kira’s sister, Hope Hall, White House videographer.

They spent a few minutes speaking with President Obama about their own challenges trying to refinance their mortgage.

After their conversation, the President suggested they take and#8220;a family photo.and#8221;
