TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212;-Tickets are now on sale for Truckee High School drama club’s spring musical, Disney’s and#8220;Beauty and the Beast.and#8221; Be enchanted by this timeless classic based on the 1991 Disney film. Made possible by a generous donation, the sound system has been completely upgraded with new speakers and microphones valued at $65,000, which combined with lavish sets and costumes will promise a professional performance you won’t want to miss. Good seats are still available, so bring the whole family to this quaint provincial town in France.

When: 7 p.m. May 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21; 2 p.m. matinees May 8 (Mother’s Day) and May 15

Where: Truckee High School Auditorium

Cost: $12/adults; $8/children

Tickets: Community Recreation Center located at 8924 Donner Pass Road in Truckee.
