TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Quality Automotive and Smog is proud to acknowledge the achievements of their outstanding technicians and services writers who completed more than 100 hours of training in 2011. Technicians Desan Vang, Lee Thao and Paul Giffis completed courses in modern diagnostics and service techniques bringing them current on the latest in On Board Diagnostic (O.B.D 2), and Common Area Network (C.A.N) computer systems common on todayand#8217;s vehicles.
Helping customers behind the counter and beyond, Gary Gunter and Kevin Ward completed the Bosch Diagnostic class with instruction in the latest in OBD 2 and CAN computer systems. Thirty-year veteran and German specialist Mark Jacobson completed a customer training, service writing and an advanced diagnostics class.
