Readers Write: Remember Bender

I have lived in Truckee for over 30 years, so most of you know me. Several years ago I had the pleasure of meeting and gaining as a new neighbor, Jeff Bender. I now have the pleasure of asking all of you to join me in supporting Jeff in his bid for a seat on the Truckee Donner PUDs Board of Directors.

Jeff is a mechanical engineer and owns Bender Engineering and Commissioning (BECx). He has committed his life to conservation, green building and renewable energy. Since Jeff deals with these issues on behalf of clients, he is required to make decisions which not only help the environment but also make financial sense.

Jeff can do for Truckee what he does for his clients. Jeff can help us become a greener and more environmentally sustainable community without emptying our bank accounts.

If you want a balanced, smart, fresh and energetic perspective for the PUD, then join me and Vote for Jeff Bender on November 4th!
