Rebel Fitness Academy opens for Tahoe Truckee community

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Ryan and Sarah Egan are pleased to announce the opening of Rebel Fitness Academy, a fully equipped, unconventional center that specializes in cutting-edge group and personal training. In addition to coaching Olympic level skiers and riders, Rebel offers recreational, active individuals something not easily discovered and#8212; precise, mind-full functional training.

An individual assessment comprised of functional movement screening, body composition test and discussion precedes training. The personal emphasis grows after the first visit. Group classes are limited to no more than 10 participants, and Rebel monitors functional movement scores to track progress and identify exercises that will be most effective to build strength in each individual.

Ryan is one of only 150 certified Kettlebell Functional Movement Specialists (a kettlebell is a cast-iron weight shaped like a cannonball with a handle). Kettlebell training has helped Ryan rehabilitate from life-changing injuries. He leverages his personal experience and knowledge to guide others in becoming more powerful.
