Relay For Life of Truckee-Tahoe to throw Purple Party
TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. andamp;#8212; The Purple Party is the fundraising kickoff for the American Cancer Societyandamp;#8217;s Relay For Life of Truckee-Tahoeandamp;#8217;s annual fundraiser. Note this yearandamp;#8217;s Relay has a new name to include North Tahoe neighbors and communities. Relay For Life of Truckee-Tahoe will be held July 16-17 at the Truckee High School track on Donner Pass Road 9 a.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday. This event is a 24-hour community camp out and walk because cancer does not sleep. There will be lots to do in addition to taking a turn on the track, with entertainment, educational and fun booths, games, food and visiting.
