TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; On June 3 and 4, 12 runners from The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe embarked on the two-day Reno-Tahoe Odyssey Relay Run Adventure to benefit Dylan, a 5-year-old-boy. The runners first met Dylan and his parents in January when Make-A-Wish Foundation called The Ritz-Carlton asking for assistance with accommodations to make Dylanand#8217;s wish come true to see snow and build a snowman for the first time.

As part of the Community Footprints corporate initiative, The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe sponsored a team of 12 employees to run the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey in order to raise money for the childand#8217;s medical expenses. The team was comprised of staff from all hotel departments including housekeeping, front office, guest services, food and beverage and executive office. After an exhausting 178 miles, the runners were excited to finish the race in 25 hours and 25 minutes, raising more than $4,000 to donate to the family.
