Santa Sledding Party a spirited event

TAHOE CITY and#8212; Spirits were bright on Sunday, Dec. 11, at Granlibakken Resort, where the Tahoe City Rotary held their annual and#8220;Santa’s Sledding Party.and#8221; The Rotary club would like to thank Granlibakken for the venue and hot drinks for the children. Also, Kings Beach and Tahoe City Safeways, Tahoe City SaveMart and Lakeside Resort for supplying all the food, the North Tahoe High School Jazz band and their leader, Dean Norby, for leading the parade and entertaining at the event, the Tahoe City Fire Department for transporting Santa to the event where he passed out more than 250 gifts and the Wholesale Resort Association, who donated clothing for the children. Thanks, too, to Santa and all the Rotarians who made this event possible.
