TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Sierra Cosmetic Laser is thrilled to announce the addition of three new members to their team. Jessica Consani, Jennifer Dand#8217;Ambra and Melise Gramm will join Dr. Haven Ritchieand#8217;s team of professional medical aestheticians.
Consani has always been fascinated by the bodyand#8217;s largest organ and#8230; the skin. After earning a degree in physical geography from University of California, Berkeley, Consani studied at the San Francisco School of Circus Arts. Consani worked as a professional trapeze artist all over the world. When Consani moved to Tahoe City in 2005 she had been training and working as a trapeze artist for 10 years and was ready for a change. Spurred by her interest in healthy skin, Consani decided to leave the circus and go back to school for her bachelorand#8217;s of science in nursing at the University of Nevada, Reno and graduated in May of 2011. In addition to her bachelorand#8217;s, Consani has completed certifications in laser treatment and Botox. Consani has worked as a medical aesthetician since the fall of 2011. and#8220;I thoroughly enjoy improving peopleand#8217;s skin, especially through laser treatment. Feeling good about the way you look gives people the extra confidence they need to go out and conquer life!and#8221; said Consani of her work at Sierra Cosmetic Laser. As a teenager Jennifer Dand#8217;Ambra watched a young cousin battle cancer and at that early age Dand#8217;Ambra knew she wanted to enter the medical field and help people. She graduated with a bachelorand#8217;s in nursing from Simmons College in Boston, Mass., in 1997. After graduation Dand#8217;Ambra worked in labor and delivery as well as medical and surgical offices in Colorado and Alaska. In 2002 she settled into Truckee and fell in love with medical aesthetics. Dand#8217;Ambra is certified in Botox and fillers and is currently studying laser. Dand#8217;Ambra started at Sierra Cosmetic Laser in the fall of 2011 and is thoroughly enjoying the work. and#8220;I love working at Sierra Cosmetic Laser, the clients are great, itand#8217;s community based and such fun work. The owner, Haven Ritchie is fabulous and a wonderful mentor.and#8221; Dand#8217;Ambra is also offering new clients a discount of 20 percent when they book treatments with her on Fridays.
Melise Gramm hails from the mountain town of Vail, Colo. She traded the Rocky Mountains for the Green Mountains of New England while she attended Dartmouth College. Gramm is a licensed aesthetician with National Laser Certification. It was Grammand#8217;s love of outdoor sports in high mountain regions that spurred her fascination with skin care. and#8220;Unfortunately, when we live in a dry high altitude climate and have an active lifestyle, we are constantly exposed to the elements, and as a result we unwillingly abuse our skin,and#8221; said Gramm. She still wanted to play hard, but not look worn and now she is able to help others in the Truckee area with the same predicament. Gramm believes and#8220;looking good and feeling good go hand in hand so why not put your best face forward?and#8221; Gramm will also be offering 20 percent off custom facials.
