Jim is a graduate of Montana Institute of the Bible in Lewistown, Mont. He retired in 2007 after 27 years as a Village Missionary pastor in the Western and Mid-western United States. The Knights have been Associate Village Missionaries since retirement at six different churches in four states, including Arizona, Alaska, Nebraska, Oregon, and now California. The Sierraville Community Church became associated with Village Missions in October of this year and the Knights arrived on the day before Halloween. They are living in the church-owned parsonage in Calpine, and Rev. Jim and Jeannie agree Sierra Valley is a “great place to live!”Village Missions is an interdenominational home mission board, meaning it is an organization that provides spiritual leadership to rural churches in the USA and Canada who request leadership from Village Missions.
