SMMS collects change for Zach Hanham
Sierra Mountain Middle School is collecting spare change through March 2 to raise money for the Leukemia Society of America. The school is sponsoring Zachary Hanham, the 4-year-old Truckee boy who was diagnosed at the age of 2 with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, a rare disease. Last year, SMMS raised $850 for the organization and hopes to beat that amount this year.
To contribute drop by the school or call 582-7650.
