Snow sports conditioning camps offered
TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212;-Join Coach Julie Young, a former U.S. National Cycling, six-time World Championship Team member and Rossignol Cross-Country team member, will offer instruction for invigorating outdoor functional movement snow sports conditioning.
Workouts will focus on training quality movement patterns using body weight and gravity, to challenge stability, mobility, agility, balance, coordination and the nervous system. In addition, the training develops and improves the aerobic engine and injury preventative muscular strength and endurance. The group setting provides a dynamic challenging atmosphere, pushing attendees beyond self-imposed limits.
Workouts will include movement preparation, dynamic core stability, single leg stability with eccentric static holds.
Bouts of running mixed with circuits combining strength, statics, plyometrics and rapid response drills
At various Truckee area locations, determined weekly based on the workout, Mondays 8:30-10 a.m. through Nov. 14. Cost is $200 for the eight week session.
Detailed weekly workout plans are available in a monthly format. They are individually designed, starting at $200 per month and incorporate endurance, interval, speed and strength workouts. Learn to optimize every workout and experience real results.
