Soul-Tending in Truckee based in the Buddhist paramita

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Sierra Agape Center for Soul-Tending located in Truckee provides therapeutic and consultation services based in the Buddhist paramita or tradition of Dana (pronounced dah-nah), which means to cultivate generosity. Therapeutic services will be offered on a donation basis which empowers clients to decide what they can afford. The mission is to continually create accessible opportunities and services in response to the needs of our community in a way that does not always define the problems of life as mental illness, but considers each person in a holistic way in keeping with the understanding that the human soul, the mind and the body function in concert. Therapy incorporates the teachings of Ayurveda, Yoga and meditation and other spiritual practices. Home visits and outdoor sessions are available upon request. For more information, please visit http://www.sierraagape.org or contact Kimball C. Pier, LMFT at 530-414-1885.
