TAHOE CITY, Calif. andamp;#8212; The Tahoe City Parks and Recreation Department wrapped up another wonderful Spring Eggstravaganza and Egg Hunt and would like to thank everyone who came out to gather the almost 4,000 eggs that blanketed Commons Beach. Hundreds of smiling children and adults canvassed the beach on a beautiful spring morning looking to gather their share of the candy filled eggs and hopefully stumble upon one of the rare golden eggs! This event wouldnandamp;#8217;t have been possible without the generous donations and support from more than 25 local restaurants and retailers who donated for the golden egg hunt. We would like to thank The Store, Thai Kitchen, Wolfdales, 22 Bistro, Fireside Pizza, Sunnyside, Uncorked, Tahoe House, Mumbo Mountain Outfitters, Char Pit, Tahoe Daves, Hacienda del Lago, Squaw Valley Sports Shop, Jakeandamp;#8217;s on the Lake, Sierra Shirt andamp; Shades, Poppys Frozen Yogurt, Jason Beachside Grille, Pelusoandamp;#8217;s Apizza, Stony Ridge Uncommon Kitchen, Northshore Hawaiian Grill, Cobblestone Cinemas, Vickyandamp;#8217;s Cyber Caf and Barifot Photo. Every year the event depends on contributions from the community and we here at the Tahoe City Parks and Recreation Department want to thank you again for the tremendous support.Contact Shaun Recreation Coordinator for the TCPUD Recreation Department with questions, comments, concerns or suggestions for next years event at 530-583-3440, ext. 14.andamp;#8212; Submitted to aedgett@sierrasun.com
