Squaw to host Retro Ski Day with free Hot Dogginand#8217; ski ballet clinic

OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. and#8212; Saturday, April 14, Squaw Valley will host the resortand#8217;s annual Retro Ski Day complete with Retro Pool Party, live music on the KT Base Bar and a free Hot Dogginand#8217; Clinic with Jonny Moseley and three-time freestyle ballet world champion Bob Howard.

Guests are encouraged to break out their rear entry boots, their swankiest ski sweater and all the neon they can find for the annual ode to Squaw Valleyand#8217;s glorious roots. After shredding Headwall all morning on some Rossi 201s, skiers can choose to brush up on ski ballet tricks at High Camp or hit the pool for the hottest pool party since Baywatch.

At High Camp, skiers can meet up with Jonny Moseley and three-time freestyle ski ballet world champion Bob Howard, noon-3 p.m. for a free, truly retro Hot Dog Freestyle and Ski Ballet Clinic. Learn the classic crossover and see if you have what it takes to land a tip roll. After attempting some hot dogginand#8217; with the masters, stop by the High Camp Pool and Hot Tub for the Retro Pool Party with DJ Zeb, noon-3 p.m.

Following a truly righteous day on the slopes and#8211; skiers and riders can head down to the KT Base Bar to enjoy live music from The Nibblers, 2-5 p.m. and $3 Coors specials for everyone in retro gear.-
