Sunshine letter: A rocking success at Teichert Aggregates

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The fourth grade class at Glenshire Elementary would like to extend its most sincere gratitude to both the staff of Teichert Aggregates and to Missy Mohler of SWEP. Our field trip to the Teichert site was a huge success. Students were able to take part in land reclamation via tree planting, environmental stewardship while monitoring a section of the Little Truckee River and an amazing tour of the plant machinery. By participating in this hands-on experience, I am certain the learning will last a lifetime. As a public school teacher, I rely on these community partnerships to provide a high quality education.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Bacon, teacher, Glenshire Elementary School
