Sunshine Letter: Golfing for Schools a Success

The Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation would like to thank the participating golf courses and the community for their support of the 2016 Golfing for Schools program.

The program has raised over $88,000 for the Foundation’s school grants program. The continued support of our partners Coyote Moon, Gray’s Crossing, Old Greenwood, Northstar California, Resort at Squaw Creek, and the Tahoe City and Tahoe Donner golf courses make this program possible. All proceeds go to Excellence in Education.

The Foundation greatly appreciates the dedication these golf courses show for local education. Additionally, we’d like to thank the community members who regularly support our fundraising programs.

The Excellence in Education Foundation is a private, nonprofit organization that enhances public education within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. Each year the Foundation raises money and provides grants, resources, and partnerships to benefit students, teachers and the educational community as a whole.
