Tahoe City Downtown Association seeks 2013 Wine Walk producer
TAHOE CITY, Calif. – TCDA is seeking a contractor to manage the signature event of the Tahoe City Solstice Festival: The Tahoe City Wine Walk. This special event holds enormous potential for growth in both attendance and sponsorships to benefit ongoing programs for the Tahoe City Downtown Association.
Management elements include:
• Coordinate wine tasting locations and manage relationships with wineries. The Tahoe City Wine Walk has hosted more than 30 locations and wineries in recent years. Pair volunteers, winery representatives and locations throughout Tahoe City.
• Procure new sponsorship opportunities. With attendance more than 700 in 2012, exposure to Wine Walk’s attendees is a chance to be involved in helping the TCDA, as well as promotional opportunity for local and regional sponsors alike.
• Innovate and expand food offerings. Whether at tasting locations or at a designated area, food plays a big part in the Tahoe City Wine Walk. Coordinate with local restaurants, vendors, and caterers to create a unique experience.
• Oversee/coordinate operations and volunteers. This event has a built-in following of enthusiasts. Manage key aspects of event production and execution in a professional manner; includes budget management and reporting to the TCDA Board of Directors.
Interested in teaming up with the Tahoe City Downtown Association to produce this great event for 2012? Contact them by Nov. 23. Evaluation and selection will be completed by Dec. 31, 2012. Email your information, credentials and proposal to firstname.lastname@example.org.
