Tahoe City Downtown Association to host Holly Days celebration

TAHOE CITY, Calif. andamp;#8212; The Tahoe City Downtown Association announces the annual Holly Days celebration. Help Santa and Liberty Energy andamp;#8220;turn onandamp;#8221; the Christmas tree and holiday lights from the Wye to Heritage Plaza and through downtown Tahoe City, Friday Dec. 2. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. Warm up with family and friends by the fire. Complimentary refreshments will be available. Live holiday music and caroling will be enjoyed by all. Saturday, Dec. 3, have your holiday photo taken with Santa and his sleigh. From 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Heritage Plaza professional photographers will be on hand to capture an image of you and the family, including Fido, for only $15 per sitting andamp;#8212; a perfect Tahoe holiday greeting for friends. Liberty Energy, a California Pacific Electric Company, is a special sponsor this year and will be on hand Saturday to distribute energy saving light bulbs and to sign up folks for a free home energy audit.The TCDA Holly Days Celebration is sponsored by The Auto andamp; Tire Doctor who makes arrangements with Santa to have his sleigh available for photography; Barifot Mountain Photos for photography and processing; Tahoe City Public Utility District for the park and tree and lighting assistance and Tahoe City Rotary for the beautiful Christmas tree.
