Tahoe City Public Utility District Parks Department invites all to Bike Derby

TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; The TCPUD Parks Department chiseled away at the snow-covered bike trails in anticipation of the fourth annual Bike Derby.

The Tahoe City Parks and Recreation Department would like you to come out and join a fun-filled afternoon, on your bike, at Rideout Community Center, 740 Timberland Lane, Tahoe City.

In an effort to provide an exciting opportunity for all residents of the North Lake Tahoe area, the Tahoe City Recreation Department, the North Tahoe Family Resource Center, West Shore Sports, The Back Country, and others will host an exciting community event with something to do for all ages.



The Bike Derby will take place Saturday, May 14. The Tahoe City Recreation Department along with the other hosting associations have an afternoon planned full of food, games, bike safety and repair stations, obstacle course, and even the and#8220;Tour de Rideout.and#8221; DJ Retro will be present with lots of great music and donand#8217;t forget to buy your raffle tickets and take your chance at winning a brand new bike. Take advantage of this free event and get your bike ready for the Amgen Tour the following day and beautiful summer days ahead.
