Tahoe City Wine Walk highlight of Solstice Festival

TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; Enjoy and#8220;Wines With A View” and all the charms of Downtown Tahoe City, at the sixth annual Tahoe City Wine Walk, Saturday, June 23, noon-4 p.m.

Promised to be and#8220;the most fun you can have in Tahoe City in one afternoonand#8221; the Tahoe City Wine Walk features 30 tasting locations at shops and businesses along the sidewalk and lakeside in Tahoe City. Premium wines will be paired with tasty morsels provided by area restaurants and caterers. Live music will be performed at three downtown locations to further enhance your day.

Tickets are available online at http://www.TahoeCityWineWalk.com. The cost $35 in advance or $45 if purchased on Wine Walk day. Your ticket gets you admission, wine tastes and treats, a commemorative wine glass and a and#8220;gift bagand#8221; of coupons and gifts from sponsors.



Tahoe City Wine Walk is the Tahoe City Downtown Association’s Annual Solstice Festival highlight.

For 2012, summer will be ushered in with an expanded festival Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 24, featuring fireworks and Street Dance, Father’s Day Concert on the Tahoe Gal, Classic Car Stroll, Mark Twain Mystery, Aaron Wilson Comedy, Concerts at Commons Beach opening day, and week-long Adventure Sports activities.



If you love great wine, tasty food, and spectacular views of the Sierra and Lake Tahoe, the Tahoe City Wine Walk is the perfect way to enjoy all three. Add music, shopping, and fun with friends and you have the makings of a delicious day in Tahoe City.
