Tahoe Cityand#8217;s inaugural Farm to Table Dinner
TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; Tahoe Cityand#8217;s first-ever Farm to Table Dinner will take place on beautiful Commons Beach on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, Tuesday, July 19, 6-9 p.m., Tahoe City includes passed hors dand#8217;oeuvres and a four-course dinner featuring produce from the Foothill Farmerand#8217;s Market. Dinner will be prepared by celebrated local chefs in order to benefit the Tahoe City Downtown Associationand#8217;s management of the Tahoe City Farmerand#8217;s Market.
Tickets are $125 per person, $1,600 for one of three VIP Tables (seats 10) available through http://www.visittahoecity.com and at Wolfdaleand#8217;s Restaurant in Tahoe City.
Proceeds will sustain the TCDAand#8217;s ability to present vibrant community events and services, such as the beloved Foothill Farmers Market. This exclusive, elegant event will be limited to 100 guests will be treated to creations by Douglas Dale of Wolfdaleand#8217;s, Scott Yorkey of Jakeand#8217;s, David Lutz of Evergreen and Andrew Schimer of Christy Hill. Live entertainment will include local musicians the After Eights.
The chefs jumped at the chance to help the market. and#8220;Even if I werenand#8217;t cooking, I wouldnand#8217;t miss it,and#8221; said Wolfdaleand#8217;s Chef and owner Douglas Dale. and#8220;Itand#8217;s going to be a great summer evening event on the beach with local chefs and local Farmerand#8217;s Market food.and#8221;
