TAHOE CITY, Calif. – At the Nov. 12 monthly luncheon meeting, Tahoe League for Charity awarded approximately $4,000 to six local nonprofit organizations. The Grant recipients were Sierra Senior Services, Laura Brown from Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation, Wendy Cook from North Tahoe Arts, Sharon Filardo from AAUW Tech Trek, Stephanie Nistler from the Humane Society of Tahoe/Truckee, and Nileta Morton from Toccata.
