TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The Tahoe League for Charity will hold its monthly luncheon meeting Monday, Oct. 10, 11:30 a.m. at Jakeand#8217;s on the Lake in Tahoe City. In support of October as Breast Awareness Month, the speaker will be Dr. Ahrin Koppel, an oncologist at the Tahoe Forest Cancer Center. Dr. Koppel completed her internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angles. She completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the UCLA Medical Center where she was appointed a Chief Fellow.
