Tahoe Maritime Museum is a living tradition

TAHOE, Calif. and#8212; The Tahoe Maritime Museum is the place to be during the month of July. Docent and volunteer training

Fun and enthusiastic people to volunteer at the Museum needed. Friday, July 2 at 5 p.m. The hour-long training and information session will include light refreshments.

Truckee Annex Open House

Explore artifacts and vessels which are not on display at the Homewood Museum. Saturday, July 10, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., 10434 River Park Place, Truckee.

Ride Miss Tahoe Program

Take advantage of your membership benefits, and schedule a ride on the Museumand#8217;s ride boat, Miss Tahoe. Lake Tours available Thursdays, 5 – 7 p.m. and Sundays, 9 a.m.-noon through Aug. 29. The Ride Boat Program is a membership benefit starting at the $100 level. Call the Museum today at 525-9253.

Water Ski Weekend

July 22, 23 and 24. Water Ski Roundtable, Thursday, July 22, 5 p.m. Refreshments, 5:30 p.m. Presentation: Panel discussion with water ski champions, pioneers in the sport and local residents. Admission $8 adults, free for children under 12. Water Ski Exhibition, Friday, July 22, 8-10 a.m. Obexerand#8217;s Marina Pier (south end). An on-the-water demonstration showcasing local talent on water skis and wake boards. Raffle drawing of great prizes! Admission: Free for all ages!

A and#8220;Grandand#8221; Day at the Museum

Calling all grandparents… Activities and crafts. Saturday, July 31, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
