Tahoe Music Institute brings on the blues with Cabin Fever

TAHOE CITY and#8212; The Tahoe Music Institute, lead by former band director Shauna Gilberti, is teaming up with local band Cabin Fever in efforts to provide performance experience for local students. On Thursday, May 12, many of the Instituteand#8217;s finest young musicians will be featured as guest performers with pianist Jody Sweet of Cabin Fever at Jakeand#8217;s on the Lake in Tahoe City. Students will be performing several different types of music including the blues. Music starts at 7 p.m. and Jakeand#8217;s on the Lake will be hosting an extended happy hour on food and drinks throughout the event. The Tahoe Music Institute is located in Tahoe City and offers musical instruction in piano, voice, woodwind, brass, percussion, guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle.
