Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation offers need-based scholarships

TAHOE-TRUCKEE and#8212;Need money to continue your education? Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation has six scholarships for seniors graduating from local high schools:

Pat Sutton Memorial Scholarship: $3,000

One year scholarship for a Truckee High School student attending a four-year school with exemplary community service.

Elenita Sullivan Memorial Scholarship: $8,000

Four-year scholarship for a North Tahoe High School student attending a four-year school in a health related field ($2,000 per year for four years).

Cameron and Jane Baird Scholarship: $10,000

Four year scholarship for a Truckee or North Tahoe High School Latino/a student attending a four-year school ($2,500 per year for four years).

Cameron and Jane Baird Scholarship: $5,000

Two year scholarship for a Truckee or North Tahoe High School Latino/a student attending a two-year school ($2,500 per year for two years).

Robert and#8220;Froand#8221; Frohlich Memorial Scholarship: $500

One year scholarship to a North Tahoe High School student and#8220;pursuing your dream.and#8221;

TTCF Community Scholarship: $1,000

One year scholarship to a Truckee or North Tahoe High School student attending a four year school.

Applications are available at http://www.ttcf.net/grants or through the counselorand#8217;s office at North Tahoe and Truckee High School.
