In addition to regularly scheduled hours, the Truckee High School pool will be open for combo swim, noon-2 p.m. Dec. 22-24 and Dec. 27-31. There will be no p.m. lap swim Dec. 24 or 31. Tahoe Forest Hospitalandamp;#8217;s Hospice Gift and Thrift Stores located in Truckee at 10026 Meadow Way and Kings Beach at 8611 N. Lake Blvd. are in need of community-minded individuals to volunteer. Volunteers are an important part of the Hospice team and are always needed. Flexible work schedule in a fun, friendly environment. Volunteers assist in processing and preparing donations for resale. Volunteering is a rewarding experience, even for just a few hours a week.
