Tahoe Volleyball six-week clinic series in Tahoe City
TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Mike Welch, a 17-year veteran NCAA college head volleyball coach and two-time USA Youth National Team Head Coach, will lead a six-week volleyball clinic series on Monday nights in Tahoe City at Rideout Community Center. The Tahoe Volleyball Clinics start on March 14, and continue on March 21, 28, April 11, 18 and 25, 2011. The Training and League sessions from 6-8 p.m. are for middle and elementary school players. The Intensive Small Group Training sessions from 8-9 p.m. are for high school players.-
Each session is limited to ensure small group training.
Participants will get individualized personal training to help them reach their goals. The clinics are a great opportunity for youth athletes to get specialized elite and personal instruction.
Welch said: and#8220;The Tahoe Volleyball clinic series will be a great opportunity to receive expert training to propel each playerand#8217;s game. Our training will be fun, fast paced, and focused on helping each player become their personal best.and#8221;
Mike Welch was an NCAA Division I and II college head volleyball coach for 17 years, with 267 career wins, six nationally ranked seasons, and five conference championships. Welch was the head coach at Idaho State University, University of North Florida, and at Morehead State University. Additionally, Welch was a two-time head coach for the USA Youth National Team, and coached five years in the USA National Team development program. He has coached players who have become a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Olympic Best Scorer and Silver Medalist, numerous National-Players-of-the-Year and college All-American honorees.
Pre-register online. Space is limited. Cost for all six week sessions is $199 for the Training and League, and $179 for the Intensive Small Group Training.
