To the editor:Tahoe Forest Hospice and Health Promotions applauds our local community for their generosity at the Celebrity Sports Invitational fund-raiser. Thanks to all of the local businesses, and individuals listed below, over $20,000 was raised to support the Tahoe Forest Hospice and Health Promotion programs. Charitable donations are essential for both programs to continue to serve our community. The Hospice program is a specialized program with the primary goal of preserving the dignity of terminally ill patients by allowing them to make their own choices related to end-of-life care. Our Health Promotion program is dedicated to improving the health, fitness and quality of life for residents and visitors to the Tahoe-Truckee area.Major sponsors were East West Partners and Ami Joaillaire at the Resort at Squaw Creek.
