The Truckee Chili Cookoff is coming

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Stir it up in Truckee with Truckee Sunrise Rotaryand#8217;s 4th annual Chili Coof Off at the Truckee Regional Park, June 24, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be plenty of fun for the kids and adults alike. Join celebrity MC from KCRA Teo Torres for chili, beer, hot dogs, and ice cream. Crowd-pleasing bands to include The Deck Heads, Jo Mama and Drinking with Clowns to get you on your feet. Unlimited chili tasting is $15 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. The competitors are an assortment of culinary artists from restaurants, nonprofits and individuals. There will be a best overall and a peopleand#8217;s choice category. All proceeds go to Sunrise Rotary of Truckee to fund their mission of service to the community. Tickets will be available around town, at Truckee Thrusdays, the Truckee Ribfest June 17and of course the day of the event.
