Town of Truckee PD tops student teams in basketball challenge

TRUCKEE and#8212; On Friday, June 1, the students of Sierra High School and Placer Community School challenged the Truckee Police Department to show their might in a game of basketball. After a very close match, the police department, again, out-performed the students and won the game by three points. Sierra High School staff and students would like to thank Chief McGill, the Truckee Police Department, and the referees Dan Oand#8217;Gorman and Pete Kristian of the Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District for their participation.
