Toys for Tots applications available for families in need, deadline Dec. 15

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign is presently accepting applications for families in need with children from birth to 17 years of age. Applications are available at N.T. Family Resource Center, 8321 Steelhead Ave., Kings Beach, 546-0952 or in Truckee call 587-6681, ext. 11. Applications must be submitted by Dec. 15, 2010 to qualify for distribution of toys. Toys will be distributed in Truckee Saturday, Dec. 18 and Sunday Dec. 19 in Kings Beach and the Rideout Community Center in Tahoe City.
