Truckee Community Christmas wrapped up last week

Amy Edgett/Sierra Sun

The Truckee Community Christmas program served 243 families with children this year compared to 172 in 2008, providing toys and food. Additionally, 58 seniors and residents at the Senior Center, and 50 homebound ‘Meals on Wheels’ seniors received specific gifts that each had provided on a wish list, plus they received a bag of food items and a food gift card.

The locals were very generous this year, and the Truckee Community Christmas extends its heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all!
