Truckee Gymnastics is pleased to announce Adult Conditioning Gymnastics

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. – Truckee Gymnastics is pleased to offer a new seven-week gymnastics class session for adults (co-ed). All ability levels are welcome, no experience necessary. In this Adult Conditioning Gymnastics Class students work on gymnastics skills mixed with effective conditioning specifically for adults. Students learn skills on floor, bar, vault, beam, rings, climbing rope, stall bars, Tumbl Trak, and trampoline. Why should kids have all the fun? Join a fast-paced hour-and-a-half of fun and work towards that solid gymnast body. Coach Liz Robinson is a talented and gifted coach for adults, Levels 1-5 Team and Beginning Gymnastics classes. Liz began coaching gymnastics in 2002 and enjoys working with students of all ages. She works with gymnasts on progressions in a way that allows everyone to progress and master gymnastics skills safely. In addition, Liz was a competitive diver and has coached diving since 2003. When Liz isn’t coaching gymnastics at Truckee Gymnastics, she manages the Lululemon Athletica Showroom in downtown Truckee and is also the Truckee Donner Recreation & Park District’s dive coach. Liz has a bachelors of fine arts in family and consumer sciences from Illinois State University.Skills learned include: handstands, cartwheels, back extension rolls, headstands, presses, round offs, swings and pullovers. Your special requests welcome! Stretches, flexibility, balance, agility, coordination, body alignment and strength conditioning also emphasized. A superior warm-up is included for safe adult gymnastics.The 90-minute class will be held Sundays at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 13-Feb. 24. Cost is $154 for the session.
