TRUCKEE, Calif. andamp;#8212; There is a new addition to the baseball field at Riverview Sports Park courtesy of the Truckee Little League. A new scorekeeperandamp;#8217;s shed now sits behind home plate. The shed provides a solid home for the scorekeeper away from the distractions of fans, players and the elements to focus on the details of the game. The permanent shed replaces the temporary rental shed that not only required delivery, set up and break down each year, but also an annual cost. Truckee Little League managers and coaches andamp;#8212; Andy Bullion, Mat Maes, Craig Wingard, David Vaille and Gerry Rodriguez andamp;#8212; constructed the shed with generous contributions from local businesses.Hills Flat Lumber, High Sierra Door, Kelly Brothers Paint and Al Wilson Roofing all donated the necessary materials. Truckee Little League has donated the shed to the Truckee-Donner Recreation andamp; Park District to be used year-round by participating baseball and softball leagues.Rodriguez, who also designed the shed, said: andamp;#8220;We are proud to be able to donate the shed to Parks and Rec and that our friends and business owners so willingly gave us the materials. Itandamp;#8217;s a great addition to Truckee Baseball!andamp;#8221;
