Truckee Police Department holds ceremony

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212;-The Truckee Police Department officially welcomed two new officers to its department at a swearing in ceremony held at Town Hall. Kyle Johnson, from Lassen County Sheriffand#8217;s Dept., and Noel Borden, from Newman Police Dept., filled two positions created through attrition. The event also celebrated the promotion of 13-year veteran officer and one of the original members of the Truckee Police Department, Russ Walsh, to the position of sergeant.
