Truckee Police report logs, Jan. 20-26

Below is summary of reports the past week with the Truckee Police Department.

Jan. 20

At 11:20 a.m. on Donner Pass Road police responded to a minor injury traffic collision.

At 3:15 p.m. on Jeffery Pine Road police went to a private residence to serve a warrant, and the two occupants told police they had been in an argument.

At 3:40 p.m. on Jeffery Pine Road police located and arrested a subject for an outstanding out-of-state warrant.

At 6:50 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a vehicle allegedly pulled into on-coming traffic and was side-swiped.

Jan. 21

At midnight on Sierra Drive an unknown person allegedly took another person’s snow blower.

At 7:30 a.m. on Donner Pass Road an unknown person allegedly caused damage to a car in the high school parking lot and left the scene.

At 5:55 p.m. on Highway 267 police responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury collision.

At 10:25 p.m. on Northwoods Boulevard an intoxicated subject fell and was transported to the hospital by Truckee Fire. After being medically evaluated police arrested the person for public intoxication.

Jan. 22

At 9 a.m. on Richards Boulevard police responded to a non-injury vehicle accident.

At 11:10 a.m. on Jeffery Pine Road a person allegedly took a vehicle without the owner’s consent. Police located the vehicle and person in the parking lot of the Nevada County Jail. Police recovered the vehicle and arrested the person.

At 1:45 p.m. on Deerfield Drive police responded to a non-injury hit and run collision.

Jan. 23

At 2 a.m. on Bridge Street police found a person allegedly in possession of marijuana.

Between 2:50 and 4:55 a.m. police responded to 14 vehicles parked in the downtown area impeding snow removal operations, in violation of posted signs.

Jan. 24

At 5 p.m. on Moraine Road a person allegedly inflicted corporal injury on his spouse.

Jan. 25

At 6:20 p.m. on East Ridge Road police responded to a two-vehicle hit and run collision.

Jan. 26

At 11:55 a.m. on Moraine Road a person called police and reported his spouse allegedly assaulted him. Upon investigation both parties were arrested for domestic battery.

At 3:15 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a person reported someone allegedly breaking into a residence in an attempt to assault the occupants. Police contacted both parties and arrested the property owner for battery.

At 3:35 p.m. on Glenshire Drive police responded to an injury traffic collision.

At 7:20 p.m. on Alder Creek Road police responded to an alleged domestic dispute.

At 7:55 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a person reported a vehicle driving the wrong way through a roundabout, then stopped. Officers responded and located the vehicle. The driver was allegedly under the influence of prescription drugs, and was arrested.

At 11:50 p.m. on Glenshire Drive police stopped a vehicle for allegedly driving in the oncoming lane and weaving. Police arrested the driver for driving under the influence.
