The following police reports are collected from Truckee Police Department and Nevada County Sheriffs Office reports from June 21 to June 28. June 21 At 9:25 a.m. on Donner Pass Road three students Tahoe Truckee High School were reportedly involved in a fight on school grounds. At 12:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road there was a non-injury traffic collision. At 6:20 p.m. on Donner Pass Road Police contacted a subject and arrested him on suspicion of public drunkenness. At 4 p.m. on Truckee Airport Road there was a non-injury property damage only accident in the parking lot of the Town of Truckee building. At 10 p.m. on Columbine Road there was a hit and run traffic accident. June 22 At 10:45 a.m. on Donner Pass Road two juveniles got into an argument at school. One subject reportedly slapped the other across the face. The victim wanted the suspect arrested and signed a citizens arrest. The suspect was cited and released to her father. At 3:30 p.m. on Martis Valley Road a man reported that his car had been stolen. While officers were on the scene, the suspect drove up to the residence in the vehicle and was cited on suspicion of driving without a license. At 4 p.m. on Brockway Road a driver crashed his car into a power-box after what police said was a reckless maneuver. The driver was found to be unlicensed and uninsured. The vehicle was towed and impounded for 30-days. At 10:25 p.m. on Bridge Street at Donner Pass Road a subject was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public after he fell into a barricade in front of officers. At 10:20 p.m. on Bridge Street and Jibboom Street a subject was stopped on suspicion of being drunk in public. The subject was found to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and was arrested on suspicion of those charges. At midnight on Prosser Dam Road at Giahard there was a vehicle collision. One of the drivers, a juvenile, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. June 23 At midnight on Northwoods at Upper Davos a motorcyclist was stopped for speeding. The driver displayed signs of intoxication and was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. At midnight on Pine Cone Road officers responded to a report of a possible fight in progress. Officers arrived and contacted a resident who refused to cooperate, and the subject was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an investigation. At 12:50 a.m. on Highway 89 north at Prosser Dam Road a vehicle code violation. The 18-year-old driver showed signs of intoxication and was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving when his blood alcohol content tested at .068, according to police. The driver was released to a sober driver. The vehicle was left at the scene. At 9:10 p.m. on Deerfield Drive at Highway 89 south a vehicle was stopped for traveling approximately 20 miles per hour below the posted speed limit. It was determined by police that the driver did not have a valid drivers license. The driver was cited and the vehicle was towed. June 24 At midnight on Brockway Road at Reynolds Way an officer spotted a suspected wanted on an outstanding felony warrant. The suspect fled into a local business and was captured. Narcotics were found in the suspects vehicle along with false registration. The vehicle was towed. At 1:45 a.m. on Martis Peak Road officers stopped a vehicle for driving off the roadway. The driver was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. At 2:20 a.m. on Donner Pass Road at Levon Avenue a subject was stopped for riding a bicycle during nighttime hours with no light or reflector. The rider was arrested on suspicion of riding a bicycle under the influence of alcohol. At 3:40 a.m. on Red Fir Road officers were dispatched in response to reports of a screaming female. Officers made contact with a barefoot woman who was screaming and crying in the middle of the street. She was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness. At 11:50 a.m. on Donner Pass Road east of the Donner Lake guardrail a vehicle was stopped for an observed vehicle code violation. The driver reportedly had a suspended license. A juvenile passenger was arrested on suspicion of violating probation and smoking marijuana. Both parties were cited, released and the vehicle was towed. At 2:50 p.m. on Royal Way the Truckee Fire Protection District request Truckee police assistance to force entry into a residence in response to a Life Alert medical emergency. Entry was made, resulting in property damage, and no one was found inside. The residence was then secured. Truckee police later located the victims son who said that his mother was okay and the alert was an error. At 8:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road east of South Shore Drive police responded to a 911 phone call from a woman who reported a drunk person banging on her back door. Police were also contacted by a second subject who reported that a suspect had been knocking on his door as well. The suspect was located and arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness. At 10:50 p.m. on Deerfield Drive an officer responded to a parking lot for reports of an intoxicated male. Officers arrested the suspect on suspicion of public drunkenness. June 25 At 1:30 a.m. on Alder Creek Road east of Highway 89 north a vehicle was seen driving recklessly and was stopped. The driver was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. At 8:26 a.m. on West River Street there was a hit-and-run accident. At 10:24 a.m. on Brockway Road a local hotel found marijuana in a rented room. The drug was seized and booked for destruction. At 12:50 p.m. on Davos Road police responded to a verbal argument. One party had a felony warrant from San Mateo and was arrested on suspicion of those charges. At 4:30 p.m. on Pioneer Trail there was a report of a missing juvenile who went to Truckee and failed to return. She was located on her way back to Truckee. At 10:20 p.m. on Highway 89 south CHP reported an intoxicated subject walked into their Truckee office. Officers contacted the subject and arrested him on suspicion of public intoxication. June 26 At 9:45 p.m. on Beacon Road at Barnes Drive there was a single-vehicle non-injury collision. June 27 At 3:30 p.m. on Martis Valley Road a juvenile on home arrest became upset with his mother and punched a hole in the wall of his bedroom. The mother wanted to press charges for vandalism. At 6:35 p.m. on Old Mill Road there was a report of a domestic dispute. The male party was gone when officers arrived. An information report was taken. At 4:20 p.m. on Highway 267 at Soaring Road there was a minor injury three-vehicle collision. At 9:30 p.m. on Highway 267 at Interstate 80 a vehicle was stopped for driving in the dark without headlights. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and for alleged possession of marijuana. June 28 At 12:40 a.m. on Commercial Row at the Train Depot a juvenile who had previously been reported missing was located after arriving on the train.
