Car owners are choosing to repair those old clunkers rather than purchase new. A local auto repair shop, Quality Automotive, has seen their business thrive due to this trend. The business was recently purchased by Truckee resident Bill Greeno, who worked with local broker James Cadonnell of Main Street Commercial Real Estate to extend the shop’s lease in the Save Mart and Longs shopping center in Truckee.

The North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Summer Recreation Luncheon Wednesday, June 10 at noon, with an 11:45 a.m. check-in, at Sunnyside Resort, 1850 West Lake Blvd., Tahoe City.
This event is geared to provide insight about events, festivals and activities, to frontline employees and business owners.
Attendees may give a brief presentation and provide 80 brochures or other pieces of collateral to be distributed. Early sign ups are recommended. Deadline is Friday, June 5.
