No appointments are needed for these upcoming Placer County-sponsored H1N1 clinics. All are free and open to all Placer County residents. Tahoe – Placer County Clinic, 8665 Salmon Ave., Kings Beach on Thursday Feb. 25 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., closed noon to 1 p.m.
In an effort to provide alcohol and other drug prevention services in the Tahoe-Truckee community, interested individuals are encouraged to get together to join a newly formed working group. On Feb. 25 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Squaw Valley Public Utility District, 305 Squaw Valley Road, discuss ways to consolidate and gather pertinent alcohol and other drug-related data to assess the community’s drug and alcohol personality.
