Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation hires director of donor engagement

Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation announced that Ann Pridgen has been hired as director of donor engagement. Pridgen will be responsible for working with donors to help them identify their charitable passions and to build philanthropy among full and part-time residents of Truckee North Tahoe.

and#8220;My work focuses on making opportunities and connections between the donorand#8217;s personal goals and#8212; what they want to accomplish locally and beyond and#8212; and the Foundationand#8217;s investment program and services,and#8221; said Pridgen. and#8220; I am always optimistic about philanthropy and the unstoppable passion for giving that creates a better community, and better world.and#8221;

Most recently Pridgen served as development officer for the University of California, Davis Cancer Center. She has also served as senior vice president at Netzel Associates and executive vice president of the United Way of the Bay Area.

Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation was established in March 1998 with a $1 million donation from William Hewlett. Since that time, Hewlettand#8217;s dream has been joined by thousands of permanent and part-time residents who are committed to strengthening the community through philanthropy. Since its inception, the Foundation has stewarded more than $10 million into local organizations working to improve the community and now has assets of $15 million.
