The Reno Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Spring Concert is Sunday, May 10 at 2 p.m. at Nightingale Hall at University of Nevada, Reno. The 56-member Concert Orchestra includes nine young musicians from Truckee. These middle and high school students auditioned last spring to win positions in the orchestra, which has been rehearsing every Monday in Reno throughout the school year.

They also take private music lessons every week from Truckee violinist Liz Glattly.

Congratulations to these hard working, talented young musicians who showcase the diverse accomplishments our youth bring to our community. Truckee is proud.

For more information on the concert visit http://www.renophilharmonic.com or call Liz Glattly 550-7473.
