Truckee’s Church of the Mountains celebrates, Pastor Jeffery Hall is ordained

TRUCKEE and#8212; Church of the Mountains Pastor Jeffery D. Hall was ordained as an Elder in full connection in the United Methodist Church at the California-Nevada Annual Conference in Sacramento, June 19, 2010.

Hall graduated with his bachelorand#8217;s degree from Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colo. and went on to receive his masterand#8217;s at Claremont School of Theology in Claremont, Calif. He then served as pastor to the Portola United Methodist Church for three years. Hall continued his education at Claremont Graduate University working on his doctoral. In 2005 Jeff was appointed to serve the Church of the Mountains United Methodist Church in Truckee where he entered the ordination process.

Jeff Hall presides each Sunday at 9 a.m. at Church of the Mountains United Methodist Church bringing inspiration, loving kindness, joy and peace to the people. Each sermon is a journey toward knowing Christ better and characterized by compassion and opening the heart.
