Truckee’s Creative Concepts celebrates eighteen-year anniversary
April 10, 2009 marked the 18-year anniversary for the Truckee-owned and operated advertising agency Creative Concepts. Creative Concepts is a full-service advertising agency specializing in media and marketing, and currently has over 30 national and regional clients in Northern Nevada, California, and throughout the western region. “Every year we are thankful that we are able to continue to do what we love, and also to help local and regional businesses keep their livelihood going,” says Laura Partridge founder and owner of the agency. “This year we are especially thankful for the lasting relationships we have with our clients and the friends we have made along the way,” adds Partridge.
Longevity in the marketplace combined with knowledge of all forms of media, enthusiasm for projects and attention to detail makes Creative Concepts a leader in the advertising industry. Creative Concepts offers the expertise and knowledge of a big agency yet maintains the personal touch only a small agency can provide. Partridge has more than 26 years in the advertising industry and recent addition to the staff, Debra Winans, has more than 22 years. Winans joined the staff in January of this year as the Director of Account Services. Working with a small, close knit staff allows them to tailor marketing and advertising plans to the meet specific needs of each of their clients, and to be responsive to the continually fluctuating economic climate.
The Creative Concepts staff is experienced in a variety of industries and their backgrounds are diverse, covering a large spectrum of the marketing field. Along with Laura Partridge and Debra Winans, the agency’s team includes Kirsten Appleton, Molly Moloney, Lillian Waiyaki, and Debbie Bair. Services offered include media planning, negotiation and placement, strategy, ad design and production, public relations, and promotions.
While the list of clients has grown and changed over the years, Creative Concepts still has many of the same clients that started with the business 18 years ago. “We feel very fortunate to have such great clients, and to be able to live and work in the region,” says Partridge. “We look forward to continuing to make a difference in our clients’ businesses and in our community,” she adds.

An older friend I made when I began here in 2016 called the other day to talk about the paper. I hadn’t heard from her in awhile and, well, I’ve been here just long enough…
