Veteran service representative available in Truckee third Thursdays

TRUCKEE and#8212; Jmes (Jim) Foley, one of two Veteran Service Representatives (VSRand#8217;s) in Nevada County, does an outreach to the Truckee/Tahoe area the third Tuesday of the month, weather permitting, at the Joseph Center, 10075 Levon Ave., Truckee. He is in the office with the One-Stop Business and Career Center on the ground floor, 8:30 a.m.-noon, and he aims to be there March 15.

He is glad to meet with any veteran or dependent regarding compensation or pension, education, etc. and#8212; any VA questions or problems are open for discussion.

The main office is located in the Grass Valley Memorial Building, 255 S. Auburn – 4 p.m., closed for lunch noon-1 p.m. Walk-ins welcome Monday and Friday and with Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays reserved for appointments.

If anyone has a question about the VA or itand#8217;s practices call or drop in to see them.
