Wedding: Tina Shippy and Andrew Peek

Tina Shippy and Andrew Peek of Truckee were married on Sept. 20 at the United Methodist Church in Reno, followed by a reception at the Wilbur May Museum Arboretum in Rancho San Rafel Park.

Tina is the daughter of Steve and Cindy Shippy of Wrightwood, Calif. She is a graduate of Serrano High School in Phelan, Calif. and the Ralston School of Massage in Reno.

Andrew is the son of George Peek of Reno and Nancy and Jerome Ives of Truckee. He is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno and Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village.

The best men in the double-ring ceremony were Andrew’s brothers Gregory and Matthew Peek of Reno. The matron of honor was Trina Ulrich of Colorado Springs, Colo. The couple’s honeymoon included a trip to Southern Utah and visits to national parks.

The bride is currently employed as a massage therapist at Sierra Sports and Physical Therapy in Truckee. The groom is a pilot for ERA Helicopters in Juneau, Alaska and mountain patrol for Squaw Valley USA.

The couple will live in Truckee.
