Draves-HennessyCharity Draves and Sean Hennessy of Truckee were married Saturday, Aug. 25 at the east end of Donner Lake.The bride is the daughter of Todd and Kathy Beeman of Truckee and Chris Draves of Truckee.The groom is the son of John and Linda Hennessy of Sacramento.The best man was Kevin Nannie of Shingle Springs. The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Cassidy Beeman of Truckee.The bridesmaids were Kara Evans, Paula Hewlett, Jenelle Potvin and Season Morrison, all of Truckee.The ushers were Peter Welch of Sacramento and Trace Richmond, Scott Fitzpatrick and Chris Cambell, all of Truckee.Flower girls included Kelly Gaugh of Belmont, Calif., and Madison Hewlett of Truckee. The ringbearer was Wesley Gaugh of Belmont, Calif.The ceremony was performed by family friend Louise Phillipi-Derr. A reception was held at the Glenshire Clubhouse.The bride is currently employed by the Truckee Hotel. She will be moving to Diamond Springs and attending Los Rios Community College in Placerville.The groom is currently employed with Hennessy & Son home repair in Sacramento.The couple will reside in Diamond Springs following a honeymoon cruise on the Mexican Riviera.
