HOMEWOOD, Calif. andamp;#8212; The West Shore Caf andamp; Inn invites the Tahoe community and visitors alike to the Labor Day Barbecue Party, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday, Sept. 4, 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The expansive, lake-front lawn will offer a classic Tahoe setting to celebrate a long-standing tradition of an outdoor barbecue party over the holiday weekend. Guests will savor classic, summer barbecue fare such as chicken-apple, pork, hot-link beef or bockwurst sausages and marinated chicken and famous pulled pork sandwiches. House-made chips and salads are offered with each plate The kidsandamp;#8217; barbecue special includes a hot dog with chips and a homemade cookie. In addition, the West Shore Caf andamp; Innandamp;#8217;s main restaurant, patio, and pier will offer the daily summer menu. The indoor and outdoor patio bars will offer a full selection of beer, wine, summer specialty cocktails, and soft drinks. Homewood Mountain Resort season passes will be available with 2011-2012 prices starting at $159. Additionally, the Triple Threat college season passes, which offer access to Alpine Meadows, Homewood, and South Lake Tahoeandamp;#8217;s Kirkwood Mountain Resort, will be available starting at $199. Accessing as many as five mountains, the Alpine Meadows/Homewood Unfiltered, Slightly Filtered, and Filtered season passes will be available at a special 2011-2012 rate exclusively at the Labor Day Barbecue Party.andamp;#8220;The Labor Day Barbecue Party celebrates the best of summer while looking forward to another fantastic winter,andamp;#8221; said Rob Curtis, general manager of the West Shore Caf andamp; Inn.The West Shore Caf lawn also welcomes kids and families at the Labor Day Barbecue Party with outdoor games and fun activities such as Frisbee, soccer, and croquet. It beckons guests to relax and enjoy the scenery in comfortable, oversized Adirondack chairs. Guests are invited to arrive at the West Shore Caf andamp; Inn in true Lake Tahoe fashion by docking their boats at one of the thirty buoys adjacent to the Cafandamp;#8217;s spacious deck. Ample parking is also available for those arriving by car. Both boat and car valet services are complimentary. The West Shore Caf andamp; Inn is located at 5160 West Lake Blvd., Homewood.
